A Matter of Faith is a standalone novel set on the northern part of the same continent as A Beginning of Magic, known as Iljan, and is intended as a stand-alone work to introduce new readers to my writing.

The plot of A Matter of Faith deals with the unbalancing and possible resolution of a long struggle between three radically different theocratic societies. The return of an explorer heading south reveals a new country, where magic runs wild without the need for prayer or devotion. This revelation could be the harbinger of either an end to theocratic rule or the final unification of the Northern lands. It could also mean the revelation of exactly how their divine magics work, and if the priests aren't careful, the end of their very way of life.

This book features an unrequited supernatural romance, life after death, gods walking the earth, a neglect of the source of magic, aliens, and even four different types of magic.

A Matter of Faith is currently being planned and plotted and is not yet ready to begin drafting.
