I also occassionally write short fiction. Here is a collection of my works that have survived the loss of my various computers:

Free the People: A short story inspired by "They're Made Out of Meat", Free the People is about the first personal encounter between machine-life and meat-life. I am currently finishing this story, and have a destination in mind for it.

Just Add Water: When a water shipping mission goes wrong, the crew of the space ship Helena struggle to stay alive and make it to the safe harbour for their delivery.

Helping Missy: Planned as a novella, Helping Missy is about the spontaneous emergence of synthetic life within the computer systems of the future. It is set earlier in the timeline of the same fictional universe as Absolution. I am not working on this story currently.

The Place for Fish: This is a story story set aboard a submerged city that is floated along the surface of a water world. This is currently just a concept.
