Introduced with the book Dreamspace, Worldcrystals is an epic fantasy about theurgists, magical technology, colonialism, persecution, and captive souls, spanning the world of Temeros, Argos, and Kesivar.

Dreamspace, the first book, introduces us to four friends. First we meet Irin of the Three Hills of Delisle, a trader who loses her father in a suspicious train crash. Later two teachers from the School recruit Sera deWar, a young lady heir to one of the fuedal lordships of Temeros, whose magic doesn't quite seem to work as the School says it should. At the school, she befriends Alése of Etsan, the most powerful pupil the School have found in several generations. She is also a miner's daughter, and out of her element in the upper-class environment of the School. Finally, we catch up with Davien half-Haran, a bastard child who is sent to the imperial training yard to become a war mage, but who finds the reality of his situation far more tenuous.

Two sequel trilogies are planned, starting with the second book, Dreamflight, where we discover the birthworld of Argos, and its amazing magical technology.
